Terms and conditions
Effective from: 2026-10-13
1. About us
These terms and conditions apply when you shop as a private individual at houseofvikings.com.
The website is operated by:
Company name: Deventia AB
Address: Bellevuevägen 3D, 217 27 Malmö
Email: info@houseofvikings.com
In these terms, “we” and “us” refer to the company above.
2. Orders
You place an order by adding your chosen products to the shopping cart and completing your purchase at checkout. Please check your contact details, delivery address and product selections before submitting your order.
The contract becomes binding when we confirm your order by email. The order confirmation includes details of the products, price and delivery, together with the terms and conditions applicable to your purchase.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in your order.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in the local currency of the country you have selected in the online store, including applicable VAT. Any shipping costs and other charges are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. The currency in which payment will be made is also shown at checkout.
Payments are processed through Stripe. The payment options available for your purchase are displayed at checkout.
4. Delivery
We deliver to Europe.
Delivery is handled by PostNord. The normal delivery time is 3–5 business days from the order confirmation. For products with longer delivery times, this is stated on the product page and before purchase.
Shipping costs are determined when you place your order.
If your delivery is delayed, we will inform you as soon as possible. Please contact us at info@houseofvikings.com if your order has not arrived within the stated delivery time.
In the event of delayed delivery, your rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) apply. These may include the right to require delivery, cancel the purchase subject to the conditions set out in the Act, and receive compensation for reasonable costs caused by the delay.
We are responsible for the goods until you, or someone receiving them on your behalf, have received them.
5. Right of withdrawal
You normally have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is calculated from the day after you receive the goods. If several items in the same order are delivered separately, the period is calculated from the day after you receive the last item.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must give us a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the purchase before the withdrawal period expires. You can contact us by email, telephone or post using the contact details in section 1.
You can also use our withdrawal function at [link or location on the website]. When you use this function, you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt without delay in the electronic format you select or confirm.
The Swedish Consumer Agency’s standard withdrawal form is available at [link to the pre-filled withdrawal form] and is enclosed with the order confirmation. Using the form is optional.
Please include your name, order number and the products you wish to return to help us handle your request.
6. Returns following withdrawal
After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notification.
Return address:
Deventia AB
Bellevuevägen 3D
217 27 Malmö
Sweden
You pay the return shipping costs when withdrawing from a purchase. This does not apply to a claim concerning a defect for which we are responsible.
Pack the jewellery so that it is protected during transport. Please use the original packaging if you still have it. Keep your proof of postage or other evidence that the return has been sent.
You may inspect the goods to the extent necessary to establish their characteristics and functioning. If you have handled the goods beyond what is necessary and this has reduced their value, we may deduct an amount corresponding to that reduction in value. Such a deduction requires that you received the legally required information about the right of withdrawal before making your purchase.
7. Refunds
When you withdraw from a purchase, we refund the amount covered by the right of withdrawal. If you withdraw from the entire order, we also refund the cost of our standard delivery. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, the additional cost will not be refunded.
Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
We use the same payment method you used for the purchase unless we expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees for the refund.
8. Personalised jewellery
The right of withdrawal does not apply to jewellery made according to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, for example through personal engraving.
If a product falls within this exception, we inform you on the product page and before purchase.
This exception does not affect your right to make a claim concerning defective goods.
9. Claims concerning defective goods
If a piece of jewellery is defective or does not conform to what was agreed, you have the right to make a claim under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen).
You have the right to make a claim concerning defects that become apparent within three years of receiving the goods. You must notify us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. Notification within two months of discovering the defect is always considered timely.
Contact us at info@houseofvikings.com or using the contact details in section 1. Describe the defect and, if possible, provide your order number. Please attach photos if they would help us assess the matter.
If we are responsible for the defect, we will remedy it at no cost to you, including necessary shipping costs. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation of the purchase or compensation under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act.
Normal wear and tear and damage caused by improper handling are not, in themselves, defects present at delivery. We assess each claim based on the characteristics of the goods, the information provided at the time of purchase and applicable law.
10. Product information and care
Information about the jewellery’s materials, measurements, size and any surface treatment is provided on the relevant product page.
Follow the care instructions provided for the product to preserve its appearance and functioning. These instructions do not limit your statutory rights concerning defective goods.
11. Exchanges, voluntary returns and warranties
We do not offer any additional exchange rights, voluntary return rights or separate warranty beyond your statutory rights.
Your rights under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen) and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen) apply regardless of any voluntary offers.
12. Personal data
Information about how we process your personal data is available in our privacy policy: [link to the privacy policy].
13. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us if you have a complaint so that we can try to resolve the matter together.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you may have the dispute examined by the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), provided that the case meets the Board’s requirements.
Website: www.arn.se
Postal address: Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm
The company follows ARN’s recommendations.
These terms are governed by Swedish law. They do not limit the protection you are entitled to under mandatory consumer protection legislation in your home country where that legislation applies.
14. Changes to the terms and conditions
We may update these terms and conditions. Your order is always governed by the version of the terms that applied when you completed your purchase.
